1. Posted: Dec 9, 2017. Options. Hello, There is likely one of two possible causes for what your describing: either a small tear in the camera flex cable or a grounding issue with new screen. With the screen & camera working while just connected with cables, the camera cable is not bent much, so a small tear may still make a connection.
Camera not working after drop. I have a customer that dropped his two week old iPhone 6. Screen was broken but housing is still mint because of a good case. I had ordered a new screen assembly and a new rear camera. Repair went perfectly, it's not my first iPhone 6. But when I powered it up, the camera problem was still the same;
3. Force Restart the Camera App. Force restarting the camera app can be another effective way to get your iPhone’s camera back on track. To do this, simply double-tap the home button and then swipe up on the camera app to force quit it. Then, open up the camera again and see if that helps with the focusing issue. 4.
Test the camera by trying to take a photo. Test the LED flash: Try the torch in Control Centre on your iPhone or Control Centre on your iPad. On an iPhone X or later, or on an iPad, swipe down from the top right-hand corner of the screen. On an iPhone 8 or earlier, swipe up from the bottom edge of any screen. Tap the Torch button.
The iPhone 5s's camera was paired with a dual-LED flash, allowing for higher-quality nighttime photos. iOS 7 introduced a new camera app, allowing the iPhone 5s to capture fast continuous shots and record slow-motion videos with 720p at 120 frames per second and an audio track, making it the first iPhone to be able to record at any frame rate
Okay so my microphone is not working, but during calls it works, and when I record using the back camera it works, but with front facing camera on SnapChat for example it doesn't work. Please help this is too frustrating. Doesn't work on Siri either haha.
After putting it back together rear camera is working again. So I'm guessing it was one of these two things: 1. iPhone needed a real power cycle by disconnecting the battery. This will really reset the mainboard unlike the hard reboot. or. 2. The camera ribbon cable wasn't making a solid connection.
If you are using an Apple iPhone version 5 or more, you will need iOS 9.2 or later. Whereas, if you are using iPhone 4S, you may need iOS version 9.3. To use a lightning to USB 3 adapter, you will need the iOS 9.3 version. Thus, it is very important to check for compatibility if your iPhone SD card reader not working.
